Hi Group  I made my first QRSS logging ever this morning using Spectran V2 and a RX 320D (modified Frontend) and a 250" Folded Longwire/ 9:1 LF Balun.

Station:   WSI  I have no idea where  WSI is located??  I'm in So. MN.  Strong Signal as my capture shows.

185.310= 800Hz.........still calibrating!!

My 20+dB of Noise has ceased and now I'm getting fine results.

Best 73

Hi Bill:  I think you are receiving " SIW " on 185,2993 KHz in Ill. Garry is 309 miles from you, and good daytime copy is possible for QRSS-60 at that distance. I had to think on it for a moment to figure out whose signal that could be at midday. Good job, the receiver mods look like they did pay off for you... 73 for now:  Andy - "  X R "

Good thinking, Andy.  Wink

Still, congratulations Bill on your reception. Looks like you have a good setup going there. See how many more you can log this season. You also might want to try some of the Part 5 guys on 137.780.
